Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Huskies vs. Murray Spartans
Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Murray Spartans, falling 51-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-21 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hillcrest had strong showings from Amelia Lepore, who posted six points, and Skylynn Salazar-Bell, who scored no points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Salazar-Bell a new career-high in boards.
