Gateway hadn't done well against Drew recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Gators put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Gateway took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Gateway is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Drew, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Gateway will head out to take on Immaculate Conception at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Drew, they will venture away from home to challenge Jewish Community at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
