The Carolina Forest Panthers will square off against the North Stanly Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carolina Forest is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Carolina Forest is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: North Lincoln, who was ranked 22nd in their home state at the time (Carolina Forest was ranked sixth). The Panthers came up short against the Knights on Thursday, falling 10-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Panthers, who until this game were averaging 2.88 runs allowed.
