While Salem's victory against Granville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Generals won by a run and slipped past the Golden Horde 8-7. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Golden Horde recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Salem now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Granville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Salem will welcome Long Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fort Ann at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Horde will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
