            Basketball Recap: Mission College Prep Royals vs. St. Joseph Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Mission College Prep lost against St. Joseph back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Mission College Prep Royals lost to the St. Joseph Knights on the road  by a   81-63 margin. While losing is never fun, the Royals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 115th, while the Knights are ranked fifth).
  Tounde Yessoufou was  his usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 30  points and 14  boards for St. Joseph. Yessoufou's evening made it 25 games in a row in which  he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Julius Price, who  went 8 of 11  to rack up 23 points.
Mission College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 20-7. As for St. Joseph, the  win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 27-1.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission College Prep will head out to  take on Atascadero  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Mission College Prep knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Atascadero likes a good challenge. As for St. Joseph, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Arroyo Grande  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Arroyo Grande: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while St. Joseph has snatched up eight consecutive wins on the road.
