Baseball Recap: Waterloo Comes Up Short

Waterloo lost against Cambridge on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pirates fell just short of the Bluejays by a score of 2-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waterloo saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Bullock, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Shea Sellnow also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Waterloo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cambridge, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Waterloo will face off against Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cambridge, they will square off against Evansville at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
