Andrew Jackson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They lost 16-10 to Cedar Creek Christian on Thursday. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Saints 5-0 in the first period.

Lamar Stanfield was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Five bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Dashawn Pratt made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was CJ Logan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Even though they lost, Andrew Jackson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .535. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Ribault gave up the first runs last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. Everything went their way against Raines as Ribault made off with a 10-3 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.
Christian Morales made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Morales was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base.
In other batting news, Ribault let Kenny Bibbins and Jaquarious Moore run wild. Bibbins scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3, while Moore scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3. Moore also scored three runs, which is notable because Ribault is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Jaquan Marion was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Andrew Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Ribault, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Tuesday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Andrew Jackson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .475. However, it's not like Ribault struggles in that department as they've averaged .488. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
