Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 9-7 in the process. They walked away with a 15-10 victory over the Southern Door Eagles. That's two games straight that the Resorters have won by exactly five runs.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah got a massive performance out of Ava Conrad, who went 3-for-5 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave Conrad a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Lukich, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.
As for Southern Door, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 4.07 runs allowed.
On Southern Door's side, Alanah Kaye put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up five earned runs off eight hits. Kaye has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Samantha Melville was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Lexi Tassoul also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
Coming up, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will be playing at home against Chilton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Southern Door, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wrightstown at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
