Volleyball Recap: Steelton-Highspire Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Steelton-Highspire lost against Central Dauphin East back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Steamrollers lost 3-0 to the Panthers.

While Steelton-Highspire was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Central Dauphin East's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-11, 25-13.

Central Dauphin East's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zayda Rosario, who had eight assists and four aces. That's the most assists Rosario has posted over her last two matchups. Another player making a difference was Hirah Kashif, who had four aces and three digs.

Steelton-Highspire's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Central Dauphin East, their win ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 5-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Steelton-Highspire will welcome William Penn at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central Dauphin East, they will square off against Mechanicsburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
