Basketball Game Preview: Palmdale Falcons vs. Highland Bulldogs

Palmdale hasn't had much luck against Highland recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Palmdale Falcons will host the Highland Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Palmdale is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season.

Last Monday, Palmdale lost to Eastside at home by a 57-41 margin. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Thornton put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted 22 points. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Highland). They strolled past Lancaster with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 73-58. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Palmdale, their loss dropped their record down to 4-21.

Things could have been worse for Palmdale, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 72-56 loss to Highland in their previous matchup back in January.
