Volleyball Recap: Garfield Heights Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cleveland Heights, Garfield Heights was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Warrensville Heights Tigers by a score of 3-1. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, 15-25, 25-10.

Halia Bolds paced Garfield Heights' offense, picking up eight kills. Bolds got some help from Aniah Taylor and her 16 assists. Taylor also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Shamira Thigpen, racking up five apiece.

The win got Garfield Heights back to even at 2-2. As for Warrensville Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
