Warren dropped their record down to 10-8 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Parkersburg South Patriots by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Brandon Cline made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

As for Parkersburg South, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.

On Parkersburg South's side, Dylan Holliday was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Holliday has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one double.
