Softball Recap: West Ouachita Gets the Win

West Ouachita barely beat Grant the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. West Ouachita's pitchers stepped up to hand Grant a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by nine runs or more this season.

West Ouachita now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Grant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Ouachita will challenge Tioga at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tioga will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something West Ouachita surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grant, they will venture away from home to challenge Natchitoches Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
