Softball Recap: Lunenburg Central Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lunenburg Central put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Randolph-Henry Statesmen get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Statesmen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Lunenburg Central's record is now 3-0. As for Randolph-Henry, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lunenburg Central will challenge rival Nottoway at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Randolph-Henry is set to square off against their familiar foe Prince Edward County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
