Basketball Game Preview: Jackson Polar Bears vs. Buchtel Griffins

Having just played yesterday, the Jackson Polar Bears will jump right back in to play the Buchtel Griffins at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Jackson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 games.

If Jackson beats Buchtel with 84 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. Jackson really took it to East for the full four quarters, racking up an 84-32 win. The Polar Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Buchtel beat Garfield Community Learning Center 57-47 last Friday.

Buchtel has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Jackson, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3.
