Soccer Game Preview: Klein Forest vs. Magnolia West

The Klein Forest Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Magnolia West Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Klein Forest's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 14 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Klein Forest fell victim to Klein Cain and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, Magnolia West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Tomball Memorial, falling 7-2. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 399th, while the Wildcats are ranked 77th).

Klein Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Magnolia West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13-1.

Klein Forest might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Magnolia West when the teams last played back in January. Can Klein Forest avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
