Baseball Recap: Seven Straight Road Wins for Bluffton

Bluffton came out on top against Beaufort on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Bobcats skirted past the Eagles 6-4. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Bluffton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Kunze, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bluffton pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Beaufort, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13.

Bluffton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
