Volleyball Recap: Lemont Takes a Loss

Lemont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakes Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Saturday.

Lakes can attribute much of their success to Luke Rytina, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Lemont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Lakes, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lemont will take on Shepard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Lemont HS' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Lakes, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Round Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
