Volleyball Recap: Laguna Creek Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

It was a proper cat-fight when Laguna Creek challenged El Dorado on Wednesday. The Cardinals blew past the Cougars 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Laguna Creek took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Jake Shipley paced Laguna Creek's offense, picking up 20 kills. Shipley got some help from Aiden Nguyen and his three assists. Finally, Ian Iyakaremye kept Laguna Creek's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.
