Baseball Recap: Lower Richland's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After only two runs in their last contest, Lower Richland made sure to put some runs up on the board against C.A. Johnson on Tuesday. The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets came out on top against the C.A. Johnson Hornets by a score of 13-8.

Trenden Moye was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dominic Tillman, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Carlos Thomas, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
