Volleyball Recap: Crestwood Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Crestwood and East Clarendon had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Wolverines on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13, 25-10.

Kemoni Davis paced Crestwood's offense, picking up three kills. Davis got some help from Lauren Temoney and her three assists.

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for East Clarendon, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Crestwood will venture away from home to face off against Lower Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Clarendon, they will head out to challenge Manning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
