Softball Game Preview: Gloucester County Tech vs. Williamstown Braves

Gloucester County Tech is 8-1-1 against Williamstown since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Gloucester County Tech will square off against Williamstown at 4:00 p.m. Gloucester County Tech is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

Gloucester County Tech got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. They walked away with an 8-3 victory over Washington Township. Gloucester County Tech hasn't had any issues with Washington Township recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Carly Hernandez was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Cameryn Hilliard was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Gloucester County Tech kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Williamstown suffered their closest defeat since May 19, 2025 on Thursday. They fell just short of Gloucester City by a score of 3-1.

Gloucester County Tech's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Williamstown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Gloucester County Tech beat Williamstown 8-4 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Will Gloucester County Tech repeat their success, or does Williamstown has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
