West County waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Bismarck Indians with a sharp 63-41 victory. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.

Bismarck's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was August Martinez, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Talon Goodman was another key player, putting up nine points.

West County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Bismarck, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

West County will take on Herculaneum at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bismarck has already played their next matchup (against Valle Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
