Basketball Game Preview: Hidden Valley Titans vs. Glenvar Highlanders

The Hidden Valley Titans are taking a road trip to take on the Glenvar Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hidden Valley is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Pulaski County just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 49-36 to the Cougars. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Glenvar was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against William Byrd, falling 53-22.

Glenvar's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hidden Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.

Everything came up roses for Hidden Valley against Glenvar when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 52-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hidden Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
