Severn School waltzed into their game on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the McDonogh Eagles an 11-0 shutout. The Admirals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Fletcher Warner, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Aiden Szydlik was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Severn School's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for McDonogh, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
