Softball Recap: Black Hills Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Black Hills's offense. They came up short against the Aberdeen Bobcats on Monday, falling 11-0. The loss leaves the Wolves still looking for their first win of the season.

Black Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-2. As for Aberdeen, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Black Hills will square off against Centralia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.85 runs per game on average), something the Wolves will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Aberdeen, they will challenge Tumwater at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Thunderbirds have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
