Soccer Game Preview: South Cobb vs. Hillgrove

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when South Cobb take on Hillgrove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Cobb comes in on three and Hillgrove on ten.

South Cobb's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Osborne with a sharp 6-0 victory. That six goal margin sets a new team best for South Cobb this season.

They hit Osborne with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Morgan Gray (3), Heidi Rios (2), and Khalijah Price.

Meanwhile, Hillgrove got the win against Pebblebrook on Friday by a conclusive 10-0. Hillgrove might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

Hillgrove pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for South Cobb, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

South Cobb might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Hillgrove in their previous meeting back in February of 2018. Can South Cobb avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
