Alcoa had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They walked away with a 65-55 victory over the Hickman County Bulldogs. Given the Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Alcoa's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Hickman County, with the loss, they broke their 15-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-7.
