Basketball Recap: McLouth Takes a Loss

McLouth was the 41-37 winner over Oskaloosa when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The McLouth Bulldogs fell 32-22 to the Oskaloosa Bears on Tuesday.

McLouth's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Oskaloosa, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McLouth will face off against Council Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oskaloosa, they will take on Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Oskaloosa sitting on six straight wins and Atchison-Maur Hill-Mount Academy on four.
