Springfield entered their tilt with Woodstock on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 win over the Woodstock Wasps. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cosmos have posted since February 7, 2024.

Springfield's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Woodstock, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield will host Green Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Mountain will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Springfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodstock, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Leland & Gray at 7:00 p.m. Woodstock is facing Leland & Gray at the right time seeing as Leland & Gray is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
