Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Sage Creek

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Victory Christian Academy, Sage Creek was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Pacific Ridge Firebirds by a score of 71-60. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Bobcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Firebirds are ranked 137th).

The win got Sage Creek back to even at 6-6. As for Pacific Ridge, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.

Coming up, Sage Creek will be taking part in a tournament against Crawford at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will take on San Marino in a tournament on Friday.
