Basketball Recap: New Mexico School for the Deaf Takes a Loss

New Mexico School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 69-47 to the Cimarron Rams. That's two games in a row now that the Roadrunners have lost by exactly 22 points.

New Mexico School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Cimarron, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

New Mexico School for the Deaf will be taking part in a tournament against Wisconsin School for the Deaf on Thursday. As for Cimarron, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Roy/Mosquero at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Cimarron sitting on seven straight victories and Roy/Mosquero on ten.
