Baptist Hill's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Martrell Wright, who went 9-for-21 to rack up 16 points along with eight rebounds and five steals, and Kyilan Gordon, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 13 boards. The matchup was Wright's fourth in a row with at least 16 points. Camren Middleton was another key player, putting up seven points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, North Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Burke, falling 74-51.

Baptist Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Charleston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Baptist Hill didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against North Charleston when the teams last played last Saturday, but they still walked away with a 65-61 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Cougars' Brian Washington Jr., who shot 71% from the field on his way to 18 points and three steals.
