Perry Central came out on top against Lanesville on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Commodores blew past the Eagles 11-1. The Commodores might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.

Perry Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lanesville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry Central will square off against Heritage Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lanesville, they will challenge Scottsburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
