Baseball Recap: Fort Osage Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Fort Osage finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 13-2 to the Blue Springs Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Fort Osage's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Blue Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-9-1 record this season.

Fort Osage wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-3 defeat against Platte County on the 21st. As for Blue Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Staley on the 21st.
