Basketball Recap: Seminole County Takes a Loss

Seminole County was the 52-42 winner over Bainbridge when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Seminole County Indians fell to the Bainbridge Bearcats 49-44. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Seminole County still got an impressive performance from Zakari Henderson, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Henderson a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Demarion Moore, who posted eight points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Seminole County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Seminole County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Bainbridge, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seminole County will welcome Terrell County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bainbridge, they will be playing at home against Westover at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
