While San Jose didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They had just enough and edged out the South San Francisco Warriors 2-1 on Saturday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

San Jose's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for South San Francisco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

San Jose wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against James Lick on the 23rd. As for South San Francisco, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Westmoor on the 23rd.
