Norris waltzed into their match on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their defense stepped up to hand the Crete Cardinals a 10-0 shutout. Norris' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Their offense was hitting Crete from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Ella Klein led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Norris' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Crete, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
