Basketball Recap: Lapeer Comes Up Short

Lapeer came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 67-26 loss at the hands of the Grand Blanc Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Lightning can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 431st, while the Bobcats are ranked 166th).

Lapeer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Grand Blanc, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-13.

As of now, neither Lapeer nor Grand Blanc have any future games scheduled.
