Basketball Recap: Mountlake Terrace's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Mountlake Terrace can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They took down the Lynnwood Royals 49-33. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Royals are ranked 274th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mountlake Terrace's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Lynnwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountlake Terrace and Mercer Island will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Lynnwood, they will take on Mariner at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
