Volleyball Recap: Greeneville Comes Up Short

Greeneville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mount Juliet Golden Bears.

Mount Juliet's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kailey Glover, who had six digs and two aces.

Greeneville now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Mount Juliet, their victory bumped their record up to 9-15.

Greeneville has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Creek Wood on the 20th. As for Mount Juliet, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Goodpasture Christian on the 20th.
