Johnson put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 55-37 victory over the Roselle Rams. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Rams are ranked 244th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Roselle still got an impressive performance from Zaire Hopson, who posted 16 points and five boards. Hopson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brandon Puryear, who had four points.

Johnson's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Roselle, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Johnson will square off against New Providence on Sunday. As for Roselle, they will challenge West Side on Sunday.
