Softball Recap: Ithaca Extends Winning Streak to Five

Ithaca had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt North Crawford on Tuesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Trojans. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Ithaca's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for North Crawford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10-1.
