Allatoona hasn't had much luck against Cartersville recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Buccaneers will face off against the Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. Allatoona will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

Allatoona is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They strolled past Woodland with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 49-35.

Ethan Corpus produced another solid performance rushing for 327 yards and five scores while picking up 14.9 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 80 yards. Myles Davis also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Meanwhile, Cartersville put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Cass 56-28. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.

Allatoona better keep an eye on Nate Russell. He was instrumental in Cartersville's win, throwing for 213 yards and four TDs on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 42 yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards Russell has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tyon Coe, who rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown on only six carries.

Allatoona's record now sits at 3-4. As for Cartersville, their record is now 7-0.
