Park Tudor took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against University, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Trailblazers 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Park Tudor got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 15-8.

Samantha McGuinness paced Park Tudor's offense, picking up 13 kills. McGuinness got some help from Lizzy Xu and her 20 assists. Xu was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Park Tudor's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for University, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Park Tudor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Herron on the 27th. As for University, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter on the 30th.
