Basketball Recap: Jacksboro Takes a Loss

Jacksboro lost against Bowie back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jacksboro Tigers fell to the Bowie Jackrabbits 51-47. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bowie was led to victory by Gaige Goodman and Boston Farris. Goodman dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Farris posted 12 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Those 21 points gave Goodman a new career-high. Tyler Richey was another key player, putting up four points.

Jacksboro's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Bowie, their record is now 22-11.

Jacksboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bowie, they will host Peaster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Peaster has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
