Volleyball Recap: Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks vs. The Gregory School Hawks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thatcher, Andrada Polytechnic was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over The Gregory School Hawks.
Andrada Polytechnic had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 25-27, 26-24, 25-18, 25-20.
The Gregory School's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophia Cox, who had 14 digs.
