Manchester Township had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Brick Memorial Mustangs 51-24. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-6.

Leading Manchester Township to victory were Jade Andrews and Jesse Sarana. Andrews posted six points along with six boards and five steals, while Sarana scored ten points. Andrews continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madeline Nolan, who earned eight points.

Manchester Township's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Brick Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester Township will be taking part in a tournament against Point Pleasant Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brick Memorial, they will welcome Southern Regional at 10:00 a.m. on February 22nd.
