Recap: Terryville Kangaroos vs. Wamogo Regional Warriors
If the Terryville Kangaroos were riding high off their 66-42 takedown of the Gilbert Yellowjackets last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Terryville was outmatched by Wamogo Regional at home and fell 71-35. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Terryville has scored all season.
Anthony Turtoro continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Wamogo Regional, scoring 24 points. Turtoro hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Josh Delello was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.
Terryville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Wamogo Regional, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3.
Terryville will be playing at home against Wamogo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wamogo Regional, they will head out on the road to square off against Nonnewaug at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Nonnewaug's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five matchups.
