Olympia had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 26-point drubbing they dealt Riverton on Friday. The Spartans put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 46-20 victory. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Olympia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jimmy Lollar, who rushed for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Lollar didn't just play on offense: he also forced one fumble and made three total tackles. Another rusher making a difference was Kaden Collins, who rushed for 62 yards and two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Olympia was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 302 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverton only rushed for 110 rushing yards.

Despite the loss, Riverton still got an impressive performance from Gradyn Hartlaub, who rushed for 95 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 36 yards and one touchdown.

Olympia's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Riverton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
